Advent Day 15: Christmas Shopping for the family

This is one of my favorite traditions every Christmas. Teaching Sawyer the joy of giving a Christmas gift. This year Sawyer was really getting into deciding what he thought each person would like. We went through the store and thought of each person in the family. Then Sawyer decided what he wanted to get for each person and why. I wrote them down because he was so cute/serious about each gift.

Grammy: A new phone "because she likes talking on the phone so much"

Graa: Fabric balloon cover "Because we play lots of fun games with balls and Graa likes balloons too....I wonder what we will make up with this" (BIG GRIN)

Paul: Chutes and ladders "he needs this because he LOVES dice and he likes playing games with me" Paul also got a second gift a curious George coloring page. "because we both like monkeys"

Amanda: A pink egg that hatches into a flamingo "Because Amanda LOVES pink and she likes pretty birds"

Jesse: Bubbles "He likes kids bubbles because he has kids to play with him" haha

Kelly: Snapping beads for a necklace "She is a gir (girl) and girs like pretty things. She LOVED the other necklace I gabe her." 

Percy: Bug capsule that grow in water "Me and Percy like hunting bugs. He is gonna be so happy I found him LOTS of bugs"

Arthur: Red squishy fish "this is for Arthur so he can have something to chew and he will not choke on it. It's red which is my favorite. He will love it because he like things that I like." haha

Mary Visits Elizabeth
