Advent Day Seven: This year I wanted to take our Christmas card photo somewhere that would really represent our new home in Atlanta. No better place than Piedmont Park (it's basically the "central park" of Atlanta). I love the view of the city and they have a beautiful pond with the bonus of a fun playgound that Sawyer LOVES. We swapped photo taking with Paul and Amanda. She took ours and I took theirs. I am really happy with how they turned out. I will post our choices after our cards are mailed. For now here are a few that we didn't use for our cards but I thought were fun.
We had a very relaxing evening. The boys played madden football and Amanda and I looked at/edited Christmas photos. Love spending chill nights with some of my favorite people.
Our scripture today:
Micah 5:2-4
New King James
Version (NKJV)
The Coming Messiah
2
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though
you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come
forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from
of old,
From everlasting.”
3
Therefore He shall give them
up,
Until the time that she who is in labor has given birth;
Then the
remnant of His brethren
Shall return to the children of Israel.
4
And He shall stand and feed His flock In the strength of the Lord, In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God; And they shall abide, For now He shall be great To the ends of the earth;
